My ministry also includes a singing ministry. I started singing in church when I was just a small boy. My wife and girls also sing with me on occasion. I am currently a member of Sacred Hearts Southern Gospel Group. We are a mixed quartet. We offer a blend of older songs as well as some of the new songs.
I believe that music is an invaluable part of the worship service. Most of all, I believe that the Lord is in control of all my steps. I know beyond any doubt that He will guide my path as well as guide yours. I was raised a missionary (southern) Baptist. I believe in the infallible Word of God, in eternal security, in the in-filling Holy Spirit of God that leads me through life, and I believe that God will not fail even when I sometimes do. May the Lord be blessed by our endeavors in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Just as Moses thought that God should send someone else, I sometimes think that about the call to ministry. I have learned by experience not to second-guess the Lord. I am stepping out in faith expecting Him to guide me.
My secular occupation is as a security officer. I retired from a law enforcement career with approximately 20 yrs. I am currently a bi-vocational pastor at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
